It’s Saturday and you are sitting at the coffee shop indulging in your usual pass time of staring at your current object of obsession for the second hour continuously. Suddenly the next thing you know, she is walking up to you and offering to buy you a cappuccino. An hour later you are chatting like you have known each other all your lives. You muster up all the courage left in you and you ask her out. Voila! She agrees. Well here are a few tips to make sure that the “official” first date remains a truly unforgettable one. Always be on time. Punctuality remains a virtue always. If you are a guy it maybe a good idea to reach five minutes ahead of time. Don’t be earlier than that, you don’t want to seem too desperate do you? Don’t be nervous. You are out on a date and always remember that. No one would want to spend time with someone who is a nervous wreck the entire evening. So calm down and take it slow. Be polite and courteous to your date. Pay attention to what they speak and respond appropriately. Remember that it’s okay to disagree to what they say, as long as you are not arguing heatedly about it. Your opinion matters too. Compliment your date but never over do it. A compliment always makes someone feel nice, but if overdone can creep the other person out.
