The Interpretation of Tarot Cards – Part 1


Tarot Card 0: The Fool
Symbolizes the principle of the unconscious, the irrational, the unknown, developments and domestic travels. It also symbolizes a genius mind.
(STRAIGHT UP) – Childish heart, intuition, optimism, impulsivity, innocence. Need freedom and independence. Thoughts and actions are often beyond human understanding. Originality, marginality, creativity, instinct. New start.
(UPSIDE DOWN) - Extravagance, destabilization, risk of madness. Inability to think for oneself, to walk. Blindness and unconsciousness leading to a loss. Unbalanced and abandoned to self’s whims.


Tarot Card 1: The Magician
Symbolizes the starting point, the momentum, origin, creation, an event from the beginning.
(STRAIGHT UP) – Activity, creativity, initiative, self-empowerment. Art of convincing people, diplomatic finesse, eloquence. Things into action, moving.
(UPSIDE DOWN) - Lack of scruples. Arriviste character, intriguing, liar, rascal, swindler, charlatan, exploitative. Use of tricks and deception. Weak will.


Tarot Card 2: The High Priestess
Symbolizes the evolution of underground things, the mysteries and secrets.
(STRAIGHT UP) - Inertia, meditation to reach a general or specific knowledge, objective design of an idea. Discretion, confident expectation, patience, resignation, kindness, goodness, vision.
(UPSIDE DOWN) - Hypocrisy, concealment, hidden intentions. Help and support expected wrongly, inaction, laziness. Hostile or indifferent feelings, immorality, rancor. Mystical absorption.

Tarot Card 3: The Empress
Symbolizes the intellectual principle, science, literature, projects and studies.
(STRAIGHT UP) - Discernment, reflection, study and observation. Idea which implementation is to continue. Education, knowledge, intelligence, understanding. Abundance, richness, elegance, distinction, charm.
(UPSIDE DOWN) –Superficiality, vanity, pretension, raises disdain. Susceptibility to flattery, frivolity, luxury, seduction, coquetry, snobbism.
